I have been increasingly aware of the poisons my children are exposed to, and especially all of the pesticides and chemical fertilizers in our yards. I have a nice crop of dandelions coming up and although I love the gifts of yellow flowers my kids give me, I'm sure the neighbors aren't quite too happy. I certainly don't want to spray chemicals in my yard where the kids play and that contaminate the water supply. I have been meaning to dig them out, but haven't found the time yet. I ran across this recipe for a natural weed killer and thought I'd try it out and pass it on.

Combine 2 quarts of white vinegar, a teaspoon of liquid dish soap, and 1/2 cup of orange oil (from any garden store). Spray it on and weeds are gone!
